Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Dave joined Fudge Insurance as Chief Technology Officer in 2019 after spending 19 years with Intel Corporation, where he led a worldwide team in support of cloud and datacenter customers.

Dave’s technical background is focused on server/datacenter design, cloud service models, leveraging the value of data, and incident response. His non-technical background is heavily people-centric, with leadership in diversity and inclusion, women in technology, consulting, and career mentorship. At the office, this background gives him passion for people & relationships, customer care, effective use of technology, and continual business improvement.

Since joining Fudge, Dave is having a ton of fun learning a whole new set of skills: Going deep on Salesforce development, writing ETL libraries in Python & pandas, API development, and cleansing/standardizing data. He’s having a great time applying this new learning to tune the agency technology portfolio for optimal ROI, and is passionate about sharing our insights within the broader IA ecosystem.

Away from the office, Dave loves spending time with his family. They are big fans of traveling, so much so that they spent a year “doing what matters,” (as he likes to say) traveling the US and Canada while living full-time in their RV. It was this time spent away from the rush of life, focused on family, that ultimately landed him at Fudge Insurance – where the entire staff deeply values a healthy work/life balance.
